What are neurological disorders?
The central nervous system (CNS) is composed of the brain and spinal cord main “processing centre” that controls the workings of the body.
There are many conditions of the central nervous system; namely the following neurological disorders, of which some fall under the classification of mental illness:
- Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Bipolar Disorder
- Dementia
- Depression
- Epilepsy
- General Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Panic Disorder
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Schizophrenia
- Social Anxiety Disorder
